Holt is neither a city nor a village, but rather an unincorporated community in the Charter Township of Delhi. Delhi Township is often referred to as Holt. The community of approximately 12,000 lies just southeast of Lansing, Michigan. While Holt is known for its small town, rural atmosphere, it also offers a wide range of recreational and business opportunities as well as a variety of housing options.
In recent years, Holt Public Schools have grown significantly in enrollment and facilities. Student enrollment is nearly 6,000, with 3 National Merit Finalists and Average ACT Scores of 21.
